Ardeer Golf Club

One of Ayrshire’s oldest clubs, the tree-lined Ardeer, located five minutes from the town of Ardrossan, benefits from splendid views of the Firth of Clyde. The tee shots are fair and straightforward, a few blind approach shots but the greens are challenging. The course is in pristine condition – especially the greens. Ongoing improvements means this parkland track guarantees golf all-year round. This is a very friendly course and we’re sure you’ll enjoy a warm welcome.

Castle Park Golf & Leisure LLP

Situated in East Lothian, Castle Park is an 18-hole parkland course nestled amongst the mature woodlands of the Yester Estate with the Lammermuir Hills providing the backdrop to the south.

Indeed, you will have to dig deep into your shot-making repertoire to succeed. The course is naturally undulating on a site that was formerly the deer park for the nearby Yester Castle. The castle ruin is still visible through the beech trees to the back of the fifth green.

Dougalston Golf Club

Dougalston is a real parkland treat measuring 6,120 yards and with beautiful tree-lined fairways, natural water hazards and stunning views over the Campsie Fells, you’ll find it hard to believe that it lies just a ten-minute drive from Glasgow. The par-71 course, which is of championship standard, was designed by Commander Harris in 1975 and is set in the heart of 300 acres of beautiful woodland.

Golf Course at Woodlands, Glencoe

Formerly knowns as the Dragons Tooth Course, the Woodlands Golf Course is situated in the shelter of Glenachulish, only three miles from Glencoe. This nine-hole layout is a wonderful example of a golf course taking advantage of the natural contours of the land. The family-run clubhouse is a fitting place for you and your golfing partners to unwind after a rewarding day's golf.

Greenburn Golf Club

Located along the Breichwater Valley in the village of Fauldhouse near Bathgate, Greenburn is a wonderful parkland test. The course has been in its present location since 1953 and was built by the members themselves – epitomising the spirit of the club to this day. The signature 18th hole is considered by many to be the best finishing hole in the region. When you stand on the elevated tee on this par-4, the generous fairway and landing zone seems to fade to nothing with out of bounds running on both sides of the fairway.

Kintore Golf Club

The spectacular course at Kintore covers a large area of ground from the Don basin, overlooked by the clubhouse, to mature woodland at the far perimeter. Formerly a 9-hole course, Kintore was extended to 18 holes in the 1990s and now gives an interesting contrast between 'old' and 'new' nines. Burns criss-cross the course producing some very interesting and tricky holes. Players will also enjoy brilliant views over the River Don, stretching to Bennachie in the Grampian Hills.

Macdonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf & Spa

The Macdonald Cardrona Championship Course rests in a unique setting amongst the beautiful Borders Hills, skirted by the famous River Tweed. World-renowned course architect Dave Thomas designed the course in 2001, creating a challenging test of golfing skill for the expert golfer, but also remaining an enjoyable course for the recreational player. The course has matured quickly in rank and reputation; hosting the 2004 and 2007 Euro Pro Tour and the 2007 European Challenge Tour, returning once again in 2008.

Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf & Spa

The friendly Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf and Spa is home to two beautiful 18-hole golf courses, designed to suit all golfing abilities, as well as a fully-stocked pro shop. The challenging par-73 Emerald Championship Course features natural water hazards, undulating fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Its sister course, the slightly shorter par-66 Saphire Course, is ideal for golfers looking to hone the finer points of their short game.

Macdonald Linden Hall Golf & Country Club

The Macdonald Linden Hall Golf & Country Club features an 18-hole championship golf course set in a spectacular 450 acres of private grounds. Surrounded by stunning views of the North Sea and woodland countryside - home to deer, birds of prey and the elusive red squirrel - the course has something for every golfer. Linden Hall also boasts an eight-hole parkland course, a driving range and a practice area to improve your short game as well as equipment hire and a relaxed and dedicated golfers’ lounge in the Linden Tree pub.

Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf & Spa

Machrihanish Dunes Golf Course

Set against the Atlantic Ocean on the west coast, this award-winning 18-hole links course designed by David McLay Kidd does not disappoint. The layout allows golfers the unique chance to create and craft shots just as the golfers of Scotland did centuries ago, and encourages thoughtful and creative play to overcome the natural environment and the coastal elements. Golfers are guaranteed an unforgettable experience here.

Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort

Located to the west of Glasgow, this par-70, 18-hole championship course was designed by golf architect Dave Thomas on the aged old Mar Hall Estate. Offering stunning views of the River Clyde and the Old Kilpatrick Hills, this immaculate course allows golfers to experience USGA greens, generous fairways and tricky bunkers. The course provides a fun, fair test for all golfers.

McMIllan Cally Palace Hotel & Golf Course

Cally Palace is the work of well-known golf architect Tom Macaulay and opened in 1994. The course is usually quiet as it is solely for the use of the guests and visitors. Sculpted into the parkland surrounding the hotel, its maturity belies its age, achieved by using the natural contours of the land and the magnificent trees, the hidden burns and the Cally Lake.

Moffat Golf Club

The Moffat Golf Club was established in 1884 and the present course, designed by the great Ben Sayers, was opened in 1905. With spectacular views over the town and surrounding hills, the course presents an interesting challenge to golfers with its natural undulations and many hidden greens with subtle borrows. It’s a joy to play the game in such surroundings and the clubhouse is the ideal place to relax after your round.

Pitreavie Golf Club

Not many courses in Scotland can say they were designed by the same guy who laid out Augusta National – but Pitreavie can. This exceptional Fife layout bears the hallmark of none other than Alister MacKenzie, and it is evident as you make your way around the course. With an abundance of trees, burns, undulations, doglegs, blind shots and two and three-tiered greens – this course has it all. The course is a solid test for golfers of all standards.

Schloss Roxburghe Hotel & Golf Course

Distinctive, challenging and beautiful, and the only championship-grade course in the Scottish Borders, the Roxburghe Championship course is the work of renowned architect Dave Thomas. The design bears his hallmarks of well-positioned bunkers and large, USGA rolling greens. This 7,100-yard, par-72 course follows natural contours, mature beech woods, dramatic water hazards, and uses clever bunkering to spectacular effect.

Strathmore Golf Centre

With beautiful south facing views over the Vale of Strathmore and free draining terrain, Strathmore is a proud, successful centre. It comprises the magnificent 18-hole Rannaleroch Course, nine-hole Leitfie Links Course, floodlit driving range, short game area, practice putting green, and a clubhouse, all in a stunning Perthshire location. The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse, hospitality and superb cuisine - and beautiful course - make it a venue not to be missed.

Torwoodlee Golf Club

With more than 100 years of history, Torwoodlee is a well-established 18-hole course in the Scottish Borders. Flanked by the River Gala, the par-69 course winds through mature woodland, rolling parkland and is divided by the New Borders Railway. The course is considered by many to be one of the finest courses in the south of Scotland and has been voted the ‘Most Friendly’ course many times in the last two decades by local golf passport scheme customers.

Woll Golf Course

Yet more proof that the Scottish Borders is one of the surprises of the UK golf scene. The Woll is one of the most popular clubs in the Borders and no wonder, with continued development of the course, a first-class clubhouse and an award-winning restaurant. Set in its own valley, the Woll Estate – with its mature trees, ponds, river and woodland – is the perfect setting. In recent years, 14 of the course’s 18 holes have been redeveloped with new greens, surrounds, bunkers and tee boxes.
